This sculptural Darling Point garden makes strong use of abundant planting, with delicate pops of colour and contrasting textures. Inspired by Japanese gardens, the design flows freely within a number of contained spaces.

Soft, weeping plumes of Acacia cognata ‘Limelight’ provide a playful contrast among the Loropetalum chinense ‘Purple Pixie’ and the Plectranthus argentatus in the rear garden, with sculpted Buxus balls framing the planting around a small Buddha statue.

Bluestone steppers are nestled among huddles of Viola hederacea and these pretty purple and white flowering plants are repeated along the driveway, beneath the lush foliage of the Nandina ‘Lemon Lime’.

The garden curves gently around the edge of the lawn as a counterpoint to the sharp, angular lines of the adjacent pool. This area is thoughtfully finished with comfortable seating and a handful of handsome pots from Garden Life.
