Piano Garden, Kensington

We named this the Piano Garden, inspired by precision laid steppers which were designed to widen the pool zone visually and integrate the grassed area.

A bountiful garden bed was planted between the house and the cool, blue pool to soften the overall vista. It connects the different spaces and the lush planting feels both natural and relaxed. Mounds of Westringia ‘Mundi’ were introduced as well as creamy yellow-flowered Sisyrinchium striatum, which sways gently in the breeze.

The whole garden now blends effortlessly with its surrounds.

A magnanimous hedge runs the length of the front garden, counter-balanced by generous planting along the edge of the house. Ajuga ‘Catlins Giant’ contrast beautifully with the delicate pink and white flowers of the Anemone x hybrida, creating a sense of ease and welcoming guests upon their arrival.

The Pepo Maintenance team continues to respectfully attend to and nurture this beautiful garden’s lawns and plants with expert horticultural care.
