What we’ve been reading
Printed on 100% recycled paper, Wonderground is a gorgeous feast of images and words that lovingly explores gardening and plants in their many facets, from ‘ecological anger management’ to ‘landscape architecture as stewardship’ and ‘gardening as freedom’.
It’s a veritable melting pot of images and ideas, fiction and poetry, from minds like Dan Pearson (Dan Pearson Studio, Dig Delve), Bruce Pascoe (Dark Emu), Tony Birch (Ghost River) and Holly Ringland (The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart).
Wonderground fills a void for all the dreamers and believers (like us) who want to delve deeper into the world of plants and explore the intersections of gardening, nature, the environment and our future.
It acknowledges our place in a larger ecology and interrogates the role we all play in its ongoing survival. We believe these are the conversations we should be having.
In fact, we believe in Wonderground so much, we advertised in the very first issue!
