Welcome to the 2016 Autumn Vine
As we all know, we never stop learning; recently the Pepo team had a training day with irrigation expert Brett Wilson and horticulturist, garden writer and radio presenter Helen Young. While Brett went through irrigation timers, set up and maintenance, Helen shared her knowledge of plant pests and diseases, soil improvement and the latest horticultural products. Thank you to Gina and Chris Grubb for letting us all spend the day in your beautiful garden.
While we enjoyed our educational day we have also recently had a day sharing some of our knowledge by holding a Master Class for AILDM (Australian Institute of Landscape Design and Management) students. Three students were selected to spend a day and a half with us at Pepo to go through the design process and business principles. It was interesting for us to see how we can help people who are new to the industry and we hope we can support them all as their businesses grow.
We have shared stories from the event Nourish Talks in the past, only this time I was thrilled to be one of the speakers. It was an extremely positive and fun night with lots of good music, food and beverages!
