Pepo Landscape Architects Sydney
Ever dreamed of the perfect garden, be it for your home or restaurant or hotel - but had no idea where to start? Ever thought of an idea that seemed completely out of the ordinary with a wish that someone could make your imaginings a reality?
At Pepo, we want to be the best Landscape Architects Sydney has seen, with the desire to make imaginings a reality. Pepo is a team of visual artists, landscape architects, horticulturists and food lovers who specialise in garden design, construction and maintenance.
In providing landscape design Sydney can marvel at, we have three creative focuses; the incorporation of functional, sculptural and edible elements into the gardens we design and create. Established in 2001, Pepo has had successful and beautiful projects span Sydney and New South Wales at large. The company was started by director Nicola Cameron, who wished to create garden design Sydney and the New South Wales region could be inspired by.
Combining her university-accredited skills in sculpture, fine art, landscape design and horticulture, she created a team of immense diversity. Other members include foodie and Landscaper James Perkin, senior Landscape Architect Eve Valensise and Horticulturalist and Conservation graduate and maintenance manager Craig Cochrane. All of our members at large have helped us achieve humbling awards for our many projects, such as the Australian Landscape Design Award and Residential Design between 50k – 100k Award, amongst others.
Our website contains a visual profile of the many projects that we have undertaken, divided into functional, sculptural and edible projects. Such projects include Alexandria, a combination of public and private spaces, Randwick, whose focal point includes an outdoor dining area and lounging space enclosed by lush planting, and Darlinghurst Restaurant, where a fantastic range of edible plants are grown upside down in the restaurant’s atrium. We try to combine our passion for such focal points with the central passions of others, such as the passion for food, for entertaining, for practicality, for art and for the community.
We also have a FAQ section on our site to assist you in answering any questions about Pepo you may have, as well as a Ready to Design? question whereby we ask you a series of questions to assist us in innovating your project idea. Such questions include what are your design desires, what is your budget, when would you like to have your garden constructed and what is your ultimate vision – these questions give us the bones to start a project on solid ground.
Pepo is a registered company with the Australian Industry of Landscape Designers and Managers and the Australian Institute of Horticulture, and has Public Liability Insurance and Professional Indemnity with Calliden Insurance Limited, meaning such ideas are in safe hands.
